Most Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, Medicaid, and UnitedHealthcare plans provide coverage for lactation services, often with little to no out-of-pocket cost to you.*

Medicaid Members: On the Request a Consultation form, select “I am covered by Medicaid.” That’s all you need to do.
*For in-home consultations covered by commercial insurance, a fee of $50 applies for locations within a 30-minute drive from my office, and $75 for travel beyond 30 minutes. In-office and virtual visits have no additional fees.
Insurance eligibility does not guarantee payment or determine final patient responsibility. Coverage varies by individual plan, and final cost is determined by your insurer. Some plans may apply deductibles, copays, or visit limits. If your plan doesn’t allow direct billing, I can provide a superbill for reimbursement. FSA/HSA/HRA funds may also be used.
